Red Scotch-Brite pads are extremely useful when sanding over sensitive areas such as pinked edges, rib stitches, rivet heads, etc. We recommend to go over all areas sanded with 320 grit open coat sand paper with a red Scotch-Brite to smooth out sanding scratches prior to the next coat. It will get down into the low spots better than sand paper.
